Having lost a tooth which left a noticeable gap, I was worried that I would simply have to live with it but after my first consultation with Dr Hyslop I felt reassured that there was a permanent solution. The process was clearly outlined so that I could make an informed decision. My experience of having a dental implant. A few years ago I had to have a lower tooth removed and it left a gap. I decided to just get used to it but found myself becoming self-conscious when I smiled or talked with people- especially strangers.
I discussed the treatment options with my dentist Dr Hyslop and chose to have an implant because it was the most natural looking.
Even though the implant cost about £2,000 and took six months and a number of dental appointments (some of which were a bit uncomfortable) it has been really worth it.
The implant looks just like one of my own teeth and I am beginning to forget I ever had a gap there. It feels great to just chat and laugh and enjoy peoples’ company, without suddenly remembering and becoming self-conscious.
Everything Dr Hyslop did was professional, thorough and accurate. The results are excellent and I am very happy with the outcome.
